I've just started trying to use the latest version of eMule+ with Jaws 8.0 as well as the scripts I found on gutterstar.net, but so far have had no luck with getting it to work. I'm not sure if I'm just not installing the script files correctly due to the fact that these have an installer program and I'm used to just going to "explore my settings," and pasting all my scripts there and they automaticly work, or if these scripts just aren't working with the newer version.
So, if someone could possibly help me out in that area, or tell me where I can find an older version that may work better I'd really appreciate it.
I've gotten it to work pretty well. It's not the easiest to operate though. I'd be happy to work with you if interested. Send me a PM and perhaps I can help you out. I could just write things out here, but it can be a little complex to describe, so if you want help, get in touch
I finally got it to work, at least somewhat, but all my downloads either just sat there or took forever and a day to do anything, so I finally just uninstalled it.
I appreciate the offer though.
In order to use eMule, you need to have a lot of patience, I once had to wait at least a month to get what I was after. That said, it's not for everybody, but it does have a lot of rare content.
what is E-mule? what is it sued for?
you're right, I have managed to find a few things on there I was never able to find elsewhere and didn't think I'd ever find again due to them being out of print, but it took them forever and a day to do anything and I never understood why it was always so slow.
